Day 1 Complete!

Day 1 went well! I did not eat very much because I had to go grocery shopping and get all the fun Paleo food. 

On our list of goals: 
-We ate 100% Paleo and had a little dairy w/dinner 
-We stopped watching TV at 9:30 :( so we failed on the electronic off before 9 PM 
-We slept 8 hours 
-We went to CrossFit 

For dinner I made Rosemary & Orange chicken, Cauliflower Mashed "Potatoes", Paleo gravy and brussel sprouts :) I got the cauliflower & gravy recipe from here: Gravy- Nom Nom Paleo and Nom Nom Cauli Mash. I stole my friend Brittany's chicken recipe as well. 

Orange Rosemary Chicken 

What you need: 
-1 whole chicken 
-1 orange 
-olive oil
-Garlic (about 6 cloves chopped) 
-Spices (salt & pepper) 

It is very easy to make!! You cut the orange up and stuff the chicken w/the orange and some garlic. I put some garlic under the skin and used olive oil to rub in the rosemary & spices. I cooked mine on 350 degrees for an hour and by the time I cut all the way into it the very middle was not done :( so I would suggest longer than an hour depending on your oven- and possibly turning it up to 375 degrees the last half hour or so.
