Days 5 & 6

The past couple of days have been busy with work and Matt not feeling well (I think he has a minor head cold) but we ate Paleo! I made A TON of Turkey Cabbage on Monday knowing we would eat a lot of leftovers these next couple of days. So for lunch on Tuesday I had eggs before I headed to work and each of us had Turkey Cabbage for dinner. Yesterday- I had a banana before heading to yoga, then I had a 3 hour meeting before work and during that meeting I had an apple and some nuts, then I had work until 8 PM. Around 5ish I became STARVING. I did not have a break yesterday because my shirt was only 4 hours in the actual store although I had not eaten since 11 I ran to Whole Foods (literally, ran) and got the two Paleo things on the hot cart. I got 2 little sweet potato wedges and 2 DELICIOUS bison ribs. I ran back and ate them like an animal and 6 minutes later (impressive, I know) I was back on the floor feeling full and happy. For dinner my friend and I got Chipotle and headed back to the house and ate it with plantain chips. So Chipotle is one place you can always count on a Paleo meal if you have nothing cooked. I get a burrito bowl- no rice, no beans, with fajita vegetables, double meat, pico de gallo, hot salsa, guacamole and lettuce. It is actually really tasty and it is super convenient. Today is Thursday and we have officially ran out of food and funds lol. I have to wait to go to the store until tomorrow so tonight we decided to have breakfast for dinner once Matt gets home and we are trying out a new CrossFit TOGETHER at 6:30 tonight. I am so excited because it has been forever since Matt has had time to go to CrossFit with me and I am so happy!

Oh I forgot- one of these days I made a Paleo Breakfast Cake thing and it was delicious. I got it from my friend Brittany's blog.. her and her husband are also doing the Paleo challenge! Here is her blog:

and the recipe of the breakfast cake- it is so easy and literally took me 5 minutes to make. Here is a picture of my final product:
